Just For women Centre
- The just for women centre is managed by Linda Kirk and Lorraine Turnbull.
We have been established to make a difference to women’s lives in the community and surrounding area. We are passionate about self help to give the women who use this centre the knowledge and opportunity to help themselves, by living a more healthy fulfilling life.

Our services and therapies are available to clubs, company workplaces and to your own home. This is a way of helping females of all ages and abilities to be themselves in an environment of non judgement, acceptance and inclusion.
Just for women centre works with partners to make a difference to women’s lives by gaining confidence and skills to help achieve employment, independence, health and wellbeing, also to realize their potential.
We aim to work in close partnership with a range of organizations to include public, private and voluntary sector to deliver innovative solutions and support to sustainable employment.
We are an organization that trades in the market for a social purpose crucially.
Social Enterprises like the Just for women centre compete in the market place like any other business, but they use their business skills to achieve social aims.

- Help find low cost therapies and health and well-being education
- Minimize on the impact of the environment through the use and promotion of re-cycling materials in our Creative Workshops.
- Provide warm welcoming supportive and inclusive environment for our staff and clients
- Maintain a sustainable and self-supporting business long term.
Just for women centre was set up to help long term unemployed women back into the job market, through developing their skills building confidence and self esteem. This new project is an inspirational role model for women of all ages, backgrounds and culture.
Women who also have mental health problems to gain a sense of wellbeing whilst achieving social integration, meaningful activity, gaining qualifications in educational training and work alongside staff in the centre that encourages the women to contribute in a meaningful way, volunteering their creative skills, supporting new members, having regular meetings, and sharing ideas for the future training and workshops. Our expert facilitators are friendly and caring professionals with many years experience. Sessions are informal and take place in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. Support and understanding is gained from sharing experiences and being with one another.
We work in small groups, no more than 10 each session, we can also offer 1to1 support if required.
